Almost everyone knows that the Earth does not have a vertical axis, but rather an axis with a tilt of 23.4 degrees. This axial tilt causes the seasons to occur, so that if it is autumn and winter in the northern hemisphere, it is spring and summer in the southern hemisphere, and vice versa at the same time. There are verses in the Quran that were understood with the passage of time and the advancement of knowledge. One of these verses that required the growth of human knowledge was the noble verse that says:
Ar-Rahmān
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ(17)
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets [*]. 
[*] i.e., the points of sunrise in the east and sunset in the west in both summer and winter.
 
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ(18)
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
The East, which has both hot and cold seasons,
and the West, which has both cold and hot seasons.

An-Nahl
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِۗ وَأَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ(44)
[We sent them] with clear proofs and scriptures, and We have sent down to you [O Prophet] the Reminder to explain to people what has been sent down to them, and so that they may reflect.
