The history of the creation of the Earth and the various changes the Earth has experienced is very interesting. Long time has passed since the formation of the Earth and many events have happened before we see the Earth as it is. One of those events is about the lands on Earth. In the early stages of the formation, this beautiful planet had only one continent, Pangea, and later this supercontinent split and slowly broke apart and spread out to form the continents we know today. There is an interesting verse in the Quran, the book of Muslims that I invite you to think about. The Quran says:
‘Abasa
ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
and cause the soil to split open [for sprouts],​​​​​​​
