The Quran, according to its own statement, has no flaws, is completely correct, and was revealed by God to the Muslim prophet. This has attracted many people over the years and many people have examined this, and the increasing number of Muslims is a testament to the results of the examinations. One of these investigations is about ants. In one of the verses of the Quran describing the movement of the army of Prophet Solomon, it says that “an ant saw the passing of the army of Prophet Solomon and warned the other ants of the danger, lest that army see you and crush you”.
 
 
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمۡلِ قَالَتۡ نَمۡلَةٞ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمۡلُ ٱدۡخُلُواْ مَسَٰكِنَكُمۡ لَا يَحۡطِمَنَّكُمۡ سُلَيۡمَٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ (18)
 
…until when they reached a valley of ants, an ant said, “O ants, get into your dwellings, so Solomon and his armies do not crush you unknowingly.”
 
Critics used the word "crush" as an objection to the Quran, saying that the ant is not crushed and that the phrase "crushing" is incorrect. This news spread widely to the point that a number of scientists began researching about the ant and after a long time discovered that most of the material that makes up the ant's body is made of a glass-like substance and that the ant does not get mashed after being hit or pressed, but crushed, the exact phrase used in the Quran.
And another scientific miracle of this verse that is not considered is the sight of ants. Some people used to say that ants are blind, later the same people said that only working ants are blind. After a few years, science determined that not only are ants sighted, but their vision varies because of the job they do. Even the ants that are responsible for guarding the anthill have eyes that can change to see at night.​​​​​​​
