According to the Paris Institute of Astrophysics (IAP) in 2006, an average of fifty tons of meteorites enter the Earth's atmosphere every day, and most of these are destroyed before they reach half the Earth's atmosphere. Most of these meteorites are small, and very few are larger than a few meters. According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the number of meteorites hitting the Earth's atmosphere has increased 2.6 times compared to 700 years ago. However, since the Earth's atmosphere is made of gases that react quickly, this amount of meteorites and more pose no danger to humans. Another feature of the Earth's atmosphere is related to its ozone layer. This layer of the atmosphere absorbs a type of ultraviolet radiation from the sun that is extremely dangerous to human health and all living things. And another type of ultraviolet radiation, which is less absorbed by this layer, and another type that is not absorbed at all, are absorbed by the oxygen and hydrogen that are located lower, completely eliminating the negative effects of the sun.
Another feature of the Earth's atmosphere is its defense against cosmic rays, which have devastating effects on the human brain and cause severe mental decline.
 
Apart from the atmosphere, the Earth's electromagnetic field causes solar winds and solar storms to be restrained to a very high extent and have short-term effects. If it were not for the Earth's electromagnetic field, certainly no electronic device could do anything.
